You have installed, or are planning to install, MessageMaster Listener, and you have some questions about how it works, and what it installs on your system.
MessageMaster Listener is a Web Service, and runs under IIS. It is installed into a virtual directory under the default web site.
The settings on the MessageMaster Listener virtual directory allow Anonymous access, and disallow IIS logging. Anonymous access must be allowed so that client machines are able to send messages in to the Listener over the internet. Logging is disabled because too much unnecessary volume would be generated logging each event that comes in, and each request for updated configuration.
