New feature: EventMaster Syslog Collector. The Syslog Collector acts as a syslog daemon and generates MessageMaster messages from syslog messages on network devices such as switches, routers, printers and Unix/Linux computers.
Server: Full-featured event filtering for Syslog collection, to allow tight control of which Syslog events are collected in your MessageMaster database.
Server: Greatly enhanced event filtering to allow for including information and warning events instead of only error events.
Server: Out of the box settings now pick up all Error event logs as well as all Security Failures.
Server: Provide for centrally controlling the event log processing interval (number of minutes EventMaster clients wait before sending in non-critical messages).
Client: Retrieve configuration information (event filters and general settings) from the MessageMasterListener web service, rather than the old .asp page.
